Zebra Adventures will be waiting for you in the arrival hall at Cape Town International Airport and transfer you to your boutique hotel, Romney Park Luxury Apartments in Greenpoint, where you will spend 4 nights. Enjoy some leisure time next to the pool before checking in and attending the group orientation meeting, which marks the official start of your tour at 1:00 pm. Day 3: Our stunning Mother City

Today is all about immersing yourself in the rich culture of South Africa and her Mother City. Take a drive-by tour of historic buildings and landmarks such as the Grand Parade, the Castle of Good Hope, and St George’s Cathedral As you stroll through the Company Gardens, which date back to 1652, you’ll be surrounded by the sights, smells, and culture of the city. Get an introduction to where and how our city started, and learn about the Cape Malay community, the heartbeat of The Cape. You’ll hear stories from the past and discover how we are building a promising future for our rainbow nation. Stroll through the colourful Bo-Kaap, along its charming cobbled streets, where your Cape Malay cooking experience begins. We’ll begin our wine adventure with a brief introduction at Kanonkop, renowned for its world-class South African reds, especially its flagship Pinotage, with a small tasting to ease into the country’s signature grape. Our next stop is La Motte, nestled in the beautiful Franschhoek Valley. Surrounded by scenic landscapes and rich in heritage, La Motte is a celebrated destination renowned for its world-class wines. Today is all about relaxed exploration, and the name Anthonij Rupert will come up a lot. You’ll be picked up in the late morning, with your first stop at the Franschhoek Motor Museum, a must-see destination in South Africa and a paradise for car enthusiasts. Showcasing over a century of automotive history, the museum appeals to tourists, local families, and motor aficionados alike. Its impressive collection includes more than 220 vehicles, such as the 1898 Beeston motor tricycle. At any given time, over 80 exhibits are on display across four climate-controlled halls, covering a total floor area of 2,700 m² and arranged in chronological order. Set against the stunning backdrop of L’Ormarins Estate in Franschhoek, the museum also features a captivating array of motorcycles, bicycles, and memorabilia. Day 9: Safari & Spa

Today is all about relaxation and exploration. Start with an early morning game drive or opt for a later afternoon one, or even both; the choice is yours. Consider swapping a game drive for a spa treatment (a list of choices will be provided). Throughout the day, indulge in the luxurious spa offerings, including the sauna, steam room, indoor heated pool and more. Let your expert therapist melt away your stress with revitalising African-themed treatments and signature oils. Take in the stunning views from the restaurant, cool off with a refreshing swim, and if you’re feeling active, enjoy a game of tennis. Day 11: Time to say “Hamba Kahle”

Day 2: Table Mountain, Cultural Shopping & Sunset Dinner

Today promises to be an exciting day as we journey to Table Mountain, officially one of the 7 New Wonders of Nature. After we arrive at the summit via cable car, you can explore the well-marked trails and take in the stunning views of Cape Town from above. A perfect time for reflection. You can send a postcard from the gift shop or grab a snack in the cafe before we descend by cable car. Following our descent, we’ll head over to Signal Hill for more breathtaking views of the city and the mountain you just explored. On our way to lunch, we’ll make a brief stop at Greenmarket Square, a historic gem in the heart of Cape Town. This lively flea market is brimming with stalls showcasing African crafts, handmade jewellery, distinctive clothing, and charming keepsakes perfect for taking home. We will enjoy lunch at the iconic Mojo Market, known for its wide variety of food options that cater to every taste. Before returning to the hotel, we’ll take a scenic detour to the stunning Camps Bay for a leisurely stroll and to dip our toes in the icy waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Our first stop for the day is at Babylonstoren, one of the oldest Cape Dutch farms, situated in the Franschhoek wine valley. The Gardens of Babylonstoren have a fruit and vegetable garden of beauty and diversity and evoke a sense of well-being. Amidst all the wonderful offerings at Babylonstoren, you will have the opportunity to join Babylonstoren’s Olive Oil Tour. Learn about the cold-press process used to transform olives into golden olive oil and the preservation process of our table olives. The tour ends on a delicious note in the olive tasting room, where you can taste the olives, olive oils, and tapenades alongside a variety of Babylonstoren products to inspire flavourful olive pairings. Nestled on the upper slopes of the Simonsberg mountain, the vineyard and olive grove overlook two of Mother Nature’s most awe-inspiring sights, False Bay and Table Mountain. Because of the unique location, the climate, geography and soils combine to produce perfect grapes. These grapes are then hand-picked and gently transported to our state-of-the-art cellar, where our exceptionally skilled winemakers transform the fruit into award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc wines. Chef Carolize Coetzee prepares a delicious treasure trove of contemporary cuisine inspired by the local countryside and farm produce. Paired with award-winning wines and dramatic views, it’s a feast for the senses. After lunch, we’ll make our way back to Boschendal for a relaxed afternoon. Tonight is a great opportunity to experience the true South African culture in the Winelands. Board the Boschendal shuttle to the Werf, where the vibrant and beloved Boschendal Friday Night Market awaits. Dress casually and get ready for a relaxing evening. Unwind beneath the enchanting lights and ancient oak trees while listening to live music. If lunch didn’t quite satisfy your appetite, treat yourself to a variety of food stalls and local wines as we celebrate the very best of Boschendal and its neighbouring producers. Day 7: Explore the Wine Region

Today is all about relaxed exploration, and the name Anthonij Rupert will come up a lot. You’ll be picked up in the late morning, with your first stop at the Franschhoek Motor Museum, a must-see destination in South Africa and a paradise for car enthusiasts. Showcasing over a century of automotive history, the museum appeals to tourists, local families, and motor aficionados alike. Its impressive collection includes more than 220 vehicles, such as the 1898 Beeston motor tricycle. At any given time, over 80 exhibits are on display across four climate-controlled halls, covering a total floor area of 2,700 m² and arranged in chronological order. Set against the stunning backdrop of L’Ormarins Estate in Franschhoek, the museum also features a captivating array of motorcycles, bicycles, and memorabilia. After admiring the cars, it’s time to indulge in the exceptional wines of Anthonij Rupert. We’ll enjoy a light snack at the deli before heading to the tasting room for a memorable wine experience. You will arrive back at your accommodation around 3:00 pm. Dinner will be reserved in advance at Arum, a must for the foodies in the group. Ideally located at the Boschendal Werf, it promises a culinary experience not to be missed.

Day 8: Safari Botlierskop Private Game Reserve

We leave behind the elegance of the Cape Winelands and set off toward the wild – our safari adventure begins! The drive takes us through the scenic Breede River Valley, a region renowned for its sweeping landscapes and tucked-away treasures. As we head inland, the landscape transforms. Tucked between the majestic Outeniqua Mountains and the shimmering Indian Ocean, Botlierskop Private Game Reserve provides a breathtaking setting—an idyllic backdrop for an unforgettable safari experience. This stunning, malaria-free reserve is home to an impressive array of free-roaming wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, hippos, antelope and more than 200 bird species, making it a haven for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts alike. Let your expert therapist melt away your stress with revitalising African-themed treatments and signature oils. Take in the stunning views from the restaurant, cool off with a refreshing swim, and if you’re feeling active, enjoy a game of tennis. Enjoy your afternoon game drive, and as the day comes to an end, unwind with sunset cocktails at the restaurant, soaking in the breathtaking surroundings.

Day 10: Safari & Adventure

Begin your day with a refreshing safari experience if you feel inclined. Enjoy another peaceful day ahead. Much like yesterday, today presents another chance to relax and explore at your own pace. Consider swapping another of your game drives for an exciting horseback safari, allowing you to escape to the majestic valleys and beautiful fynbos of the reserve and experience nature like never before. Relaxing by the pool is the perfect way to unwind after a horseback safari or spa treatment. After your late afternoon game drive, enjoy one last evening savouring the flavours of Africa at the restaurant, ideally situated with breathtaking views of the reserve’s stunning landscapes and natural wildlife. After dinner, we’ll meet for a moment of reflection and to say our goodbyes.

Day 11: Time to say “Hamba Kahle”

See the African sunrise one last time on your early morning private game drive before breakfast. Suitcases packed and ready to make our way to Cape Town International Airport, where we will say our final goodbyes until we meet again. Our scheduled arrival time at Cape Town International Airport will be between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm.
